Mimi Gellman

Mimi Gellman, Associate Professor, ECUAD; PhD researcher, Queen’s University.

Gellman’s current work involves looking at the relationship between Indigenous mapping and Indigenous “ways of knowing.” Gellman’s public art work “Invisible Rivers” in Toronto investigates animals and the environment by taking the scenery of the waterways and placing it above ground, giving the impression of fish swimming in the sky.
